The interesting article I picked is called "Rescued Chile miners recover, face celebrity status". This talks about what happened to the miners' that were caught in a mine shaft for 69 days. On August 5 the mine caved in and many people were down in it. The miners were frightened, they were not sure if they were going to live. Once all of the miners were lifted to safety they went to a hospital. They had to wear sunglass when they came out because of the light would have hurt their eyes. They were down in the mine shaft for 69 days and it was dark, cold and damp. So to protect their eyes they put sunglasses on and will slowly get use to the light. One miner had pneumonia and was treated for it. Almost all of the other miners shockingly, were in good health. The miners had set a world recorded for surving underground that long. Then it finally explains how the miners are national heros. While they were down in the mine shaft, millions of people around the world were watching to see if they would be saved. When they were they were seen as celebrities.
